Overview
Since its inception in 1993, Glasson Golf Course has hosted a range of regional and international championship finals. Glasson was the proud host to the European Challenge Tour in both August 2007 and 2008, highlighting the calibre of this stunning golf course.
The on-site Christy O’Connor Junior designed golf course is one of the most scenic courses you will ever play and is internationally recognised as one of Ireland’s premier parkland courses. It is a spectacular Parkland Course with over, 7,200 yards, par 73, with holes that will challenge and excite all levels of golfers.
The first nine holes overlooking Lough Ree and the second nine Killinure Bay, former Ryder Cup Player Christy O’Connor himself described it as” one of the most scenic pieces of land I’ve ever seen in my life” – “There is nothing I’ve seen that comes close”.
Glasson Golf Club was also awarded the IGTOA Golf Resort of the Year in 2011, in recognition of our superb facilities. The Golf Course is complimented by our 65 bedroom lakeside hotel, with the first tee just a minutes walk from the front door of the hotel. This is the ideal location for societies, corporate golf days and golf breaks.
